Moira was a show that was meant as a challenge to push Alec out of a 2-year stagnancy. In September of 2022, in a span of those 30 days, he committed to creating 44 illustrations to fill the large space they would be presented in. In the work, he explored themes of uncertainty, commination, and fate.
In this body of work, he strived for more restraint in his approach than the work of his past, implementing heavy blacks and less dependent use of line.
It was displayed in a coffee shop in Columbus Ohio, October 2022.
September of 2023, the collection of work was printed into a zine.
